Your business. Your domain.
A domain is optional. Your website can launch on its included Azure address, and you can add a domain when you are ready.

Separate billing, clear ownership
Your website subscription is monthly. Domain registration and renewal are charged separately, normally annually. Your domain checkout confirms availability, the final price, taxes and renewal choices before you pay.
Use your own details as the domain holder. You retain the domain when you cancel your website subscription and can transfer it to another provider.
Connecting an existing domain requires ownership verification and DNS access. Buying a domain does not publish a website or automatically prove that its connection is complete.
